Maestrale M01 kitchen in Bianco Perla finish with an island, a 4-cm thick, Fumo finish ecocement worktop and a Zinco finish ecocement chimney hood.
The passion invested in the woodwork is apparent from each element of this kitchen, shown here in a bright Bianco Perla finish which is brushed to bring out the solid spruce wood grain. The furniture of the Maestrale collection pairs respect for artisanal tradition with modern design innovation, resulting in rooms with a contemporary ambience that are pleasant to use and live in.
To preserve the minimalist lines of the door surfaces, grip channels are hollowed out of the solid wood door panels. Modern details such as stainless steel hanging rails at the end of the peninsula top are really difficult to come by in this type of kitchen. Maestrale’s lines are more minimalist than traditional classic or country-style furniture but, regardless of their contemporary style, they still preserve a warm and cosy atmosphere.
At the back of the layout there is a long, linear arrangement with a hob at the centre. The distinctive features of the kitchen base units are the doors panelled with boards in different widths, framed by decorative Maestrale end panels. The style of this kitchen breaks out of classic moulds, emphasising the woodwork which is the real strength of all the furniture produced by Scandola Mobili. The worktop has a really generous size and consists of a long ecocement countertop sitting on the base cabinets. This material pairs practicality with beauty, perfectly complementing the pale shade of the Perla spruce cabinets. The focus of the top section of this kitchen is on the large chimney hood flanked by wall-hung units on both sides. The splashback below the cooker hood picks up the same Fumo ecocement finish of the worktop, protecting the wall and coordinating the furniture. The glazed doors of the wall-hung units interrupt the colour of the panelled door fronts, giving the arrangement a lighter appeal.
An island accessible from all four sides and topped with the same, 4-cm thick ecocement top stands in the centre of the arrangement. The two-bowl sink at the centre features a recessed surround that makes room for a very handy, spruce chopping board to slide across it. Each detail, from the sink to the accessories inside the drawers, is designed to offer you the type of convience that affects every thing you do, every day of the week. The open-shelving unit fitted between the peninsula base cabinets has an original-coloured back panel in a blueberry shade that is picked up by the shelving unit in the cupboard.
The wall cupboard is the kitchen’s largest storage element and contains all the most important appliances as well as the open shelving unit; a built-in refrigerator concealed within a solid wood cabinet, a tall oven unit flanked by a microwave oven unit.
A square table with a drawer and Ardesia finish Maestrale chairs complete this fully made in Italy kitchen. This kitchen is the perfect expression of Made in Italy.
